Thousands of people living in flood-threatened areas of Pakistan have been ordered to evacuate. After visiting the flood-stricken areas, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said the "magnitude of the disaster" was greater than expected. Sharif's comments came during his visit to southern Pakistan, specifically the province of Sindh - where the average rainfall in August was eight times that of every year.
The full extent of the devastation in the county has yet to be determined - but people have described it as the worst disaster they have survived. But aid agencies say the floods have led to one of the country's worst disasters as the rain continues
